more on deviantART and prints
I have decided to use my deviantART account largely for alternate versions of my works, experiments, etc. rather than just repeat what's already on my regular site.

Now that I'm more familiar with the deviantART rules, I see that most of the stuff I make will be okay to post there (blood, nudity and all), however it's apparently behind some kind of filter. You might need a deviantART account to see them (if I am wrong feel free to clarify; I'm still figuring this stuff out).

I didn't have specific plans to use deviantART's prints feature, but I got some comments saying that some of the stuff I posted would make good prints. So...far be it from me not to give the public what they want. And, for every print you buy, I get at least ten whole cents!

So, I tried to scan some more of the art cards last night and, sure enough, my scanner didn't care for them just then. But, oddly enough, it didn't have much of a problem with a black and white drawing I did last year called Sophie looks out her window, so that's up on the site now.

Also, as I was looking at this piece, I thought, "Hmmm...this would look better as a painting." I have a million other projects to complete right now, but when I have a chance I am going to paint it. For now, you can see it in its original black and white.

I finally got ONE of the art cards I made listed on the site. This one's a picture of a naked demon lady (just in time for Easter!). For just five dollars, it can be all yours.

I would love to say "Hopefully, I'll have more up by tonight", but whenever I say something like that my stupid rassum frassum scanner stops working and then my computer crashes, and both evil devices just laugh and laugh and high-five each other. That scanner in particular is the bane of my existence. If I didn't need to save my money for about ten million things already, I would buy another one and throw this one in front of a truck.

on becoming a deviant
I just got a deviantART account: bethywilliams.deviantart.com

It should compliment my site, but it definitely won't replace it, not least of all because deviantART has rules about what kind of art can be posted. The best place to see new art is still my website. However, there is a possibility that I will post some sketches and things like that in the "Scrapbook" section of deviantART.

Otherwise, I'm working on a stack of art cards which should be available for sale on my website this weekend. In fact, some of them are already done and only need to be scanned.

Been to the site lately? If not, you should check it out. I'm slowly adding work (and adding back the stuff I took down temporarily).

I've unofficially decided to make Gallery Two the "blood" gallery. I'll put most of the bloody pictures there (and other ones as well). The nudity and other "adult content" will remain unconfined...

I also keep tweaking the "About Bethy" section. As always, you're welcome to offer suggestions on possible fun and informative changes I could make to the site.

New banner design
At long last, there's a banner you can use to link to bethywilliams.com. Here she is:

Of course, you can also find it in the Links section of my site.

In case there was any doubt, you should set the banner to link to http://www.bethywilliams.com.

New guestbook
I bit the bullet and chose a reasonably satisfactory outside-server guestbook for bethywilliams.com. It "mildly" edits swearing and "obscene content" (the site's words), which is something I am not happy about, but I will no longer have to delete boner enhancer and porn spam every day, so to me it's worth it.

The link is in the same place as the old guestbook. I've left the old messages on the page for now.
